Michigan House Republicans sue Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson over election training subpoena

The Republican-controlled Michigan House of Representatives is filing a lawsuit against Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson.

The suit claims she’s violated the law by not complying with a subpoena regarding access to election training materials.

But Benson argues that releasing certain information could compromise election security.
