Teen driver to be sentenced in deadly 105 mph Grosse Pointe Farms crash

A teen driver is scheduled to be sentenced Friday for manslaughter for a deadly crash in Grosse Pointe Farms in November 2023.

A teen passenger in the vehicle was killed in the crash.

The driver, who is still a juvenile, has not been identified by authorities and may be identified during sentencing.

Israel attacks Iran’s capital with explosions booming across Tehran

‘You’re stealing my car’: Detroit shooting highlights dangers of America’s growing repo crisis

A routine car repossession nearly turned deadly when a woman opened fire on the person taking her car back.

The incident which occurred on Thursday (June 12) sheds light on the dangers these workers face every day.

The shooting occurred on Detroit‘s east side and ended when police arrived and returned fire, hitting the woman.

Weather: Rain showers for some in Metro Detroit, mostly pleasant weekend

Rain showers will be possible in Southeast Michigan on Friday, but the chance will mainly concern communities near and south of I-94.

While Metro Detroit will be cooler than normal, the region will still manage to get into the mid-70s in the afternoon. The chance for rain showers will be in the afternoon and evening. Winds will be out of the east at 5 to 10 mph.
