Search volunteer recounts moment he found endangered, missing 82-year-old Ann Arbor man alive
A search volunteer recounted the moment he was able to find Ralph Yang, 82, of Ann Arbor, who had gone missing for 48 hours.
Yang was found on Wednesday night by Ben Osenbaugh.
“I was just very happy to be a part of the effort. I live in the community,” said Osenbaugh. “When I approached the meetings and saw how many volunteers there were, it was just very heartwarming to see so many people want to step in and help out.”

Bruce F. Israel, former vice-president of Pontiac-based Asphalt Specialists LLC (ASI), pleaded guilty in January 2024 to conspiring with Al’s Asphalt Paving Company Inc. (Al’s Asphalt), F. Allied Construction Company Inc. (Allied), and employees from those companies to rig bids in each other’s favor.
