The 7,898-square-foot burger and craft beer restaurant is owned by Ford’s Garage President Billy Downs, who has been a franchisee since 2017.
“We’re proud to open our third location to meet the demand for a Ford’s Garage in Macomb County,” Downs said in a release. “There’s strong local loyalty to the Ford Motor Company brand. Guests come for the fun atmosphere, stay for the food and hospitality and keep coming back for that unbeatable combo.”
Downs also owns the Ford Garage locations in Dearborn and Novi and plans to continue expanding across Michigan, according to the release.
Guests can find classic Ford cars and memorabilia at the restaurants, with dining rooms that are inspired by 1920s service stations.
The menu focuses on burgers with a variety of toppings, cheeses and signature sauces. All burger buns are branded with the Ford’s Garage logo. There are also several other entree options and appetizers on the menu, along with cocktails, wine and craft beer, with a focus on local brands.
“I started this journey with Ford’s Garage because it offered a rare opportunity to team up with an iconic brand and a one-of-a-kind concept,” said Downs, who is the former chairman of the Michigan Restaurant and Lodging Association. “I’m passionate about hospitality and love helping create unforgettable dining experiences.”
The new Utica restaurant seats 252 guests and also offers carry-out and delivery options via EZ Cater, DoorDash and Uber Eats. The restaurant opened where a Buca di Beppo restaurant used to be.
It is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Ford’s Garage was founded in Fort Myers, Florida, in 2012 and has been franchising since 2015.
