Skeletal remains found in rolled-up carpet in Plymouth Township 28 years ago identified

Police have identified skeletal remains that were found in Plymouth Township 28 years ago.

In May 1997, a man interested in buying property was conducting a survey at a field off Haggerty Road when he came across a piece of rolled-up carpet. Human skeletal remains were found in it, along with several articles of clothing and jewelry.

When authorities arrived at the scene, they determined that the carpet and remains had been there for multiple years prior to the discovery.

Woman accuses Oakland County bookstore employee of harassing, stalking her for months

An Oakland County man is heading to trial for allegedly harassing and stalking a woman he met at a bookstore he works at for months.

The investigation began when the victim went to the Oak Park Police Department to report the alleged harassment.

According to police reports, the victim said she went to the orthodox Jewish bookstore Borenstein’s Hebrew Books on Greenfield in August 2024 and met Mordechai Klainberg, a worker there.

Troy Corewell hospital shooting suspect to appear in court

The man accused of shooting and injuring his coworker at a Troy Corewell hospital parking garage will appear in court Tuesday.

The shooting happened just after 7 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2025, in the parking garage of Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital. The shooting was called in as an active shooter situation and a warning was sent to staff telling them to “run, hide, fight.”

Lululemon files lawsuit against Costco, claims company is selling ‘dupes’ of some of its products

Lululemon has filed a lawsuit against Costco that accuses the wholesale club operator of selling lower-priced duplicates of some of its popular athleisure clothing.

Lululemon Athletica claims in its lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California that Costco has “unlawfully traded” on its reputation, goodwill and sweat equity by selling unauthorized and unlicensed apparel that uses knockoff, infringing versions of its patents.
