The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for most of southeast Michigan.

The watch was issued on Thursday (July 24) for Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, Washtenaw, and Wayne counties until midnight.

According to the National Weather Service, the watch could impact cities of Adrian, Ann Arbor, Brighton, Canton, Dearborn, Ferndale, Fowlerville, Howell, Lambertville, Lincoln Park, Livonia, Marysville, Monroe, Novi, Pontiac, Port Huron, Redford, Royal Oak, Southfield, St. Clair shores, Sterling Heights, Taylor, Temperance, Troy, Warren, Waterford, and Westland.
