ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Mich. – A swimming advisory has been issued Wednesday for multiple beaches in St. Clair County.

The announcement was made on July 30, 2025.

Water samples will be collected from each beach until E. coli test results are within the acceptable water quality range.

E. coli bacteria are found in the digestive systems of warm-blooded animals, including humans. Elevated E. coli levels are possible after a storm or strong winds because bacteria are carried in stormwater runoff and stirred up from waves.
