TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. – Six of the 11 victims in the stabbing that happened at a Traverse City Walmart have been released from the hospital, officials said.
In addition to six people being treated and released, the Munson Medical Center announced that as of Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, three victims are in good condition and two have been treated and transferred.

The stabbing happened at about 5 p.m. on July 26. Police are still working to determine a motive in the attack.

Bradford James Gille, a 42-year-old from Afton, has been charged with one count of terrorism and 11 counts of assault with intent to murder.
He is accused of using a folding knife with a 3.5-inch cutting blade in the attack.
The Grand Traverse County Sheriff said the victims are the following:
- 70-year-old man
- 84-year-old woman
- 82-year-old man
- 29-year-old woman
- 80-year-old woman
- 67-year-old woman
- 38-year-old man
- 39-year-old man
- 65-year-old woman
- 40-year-old man
- 55-year-old man
