Trinity Health Michigan announces Caesar Gonzales II as new Chief Clinical Officer

Trinity Health Michigan has appointed Caesar Gonzales II, M.D., M.H.C.M. as the new Chief Clinical Officer effective August 11, 2025.

Gonzales will fill the position previously held by Rosalie Tocco-Bradley, Ph.D.,M.D., MHSA, who retired in June of this year.

Dr. Gonzales, joining Trinity Health Michigan’s executive leadership team, will oversee one of the state’s largest health systems, encompassing 10 hospitals with roughly 2,400 beds, 24 medical centers and 23 urgent care facilities. Trinity Health employees more than 27,000 colleagues with more than 4,000 being credentialed physicians.

“Dr. Gonzales is a proven leader and champion for the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care,” said Striebich. “We’re confident he will build on his predecessor’s successes, helping ensure the communities we serve continue to receive exceptional care—while also leading the important work of integrating clinical services across our statewide health system.”

Throughout his tenure Dr. Gonzales gained vast administrative leadership as Chief Medical Officer at Centra Health Virginia and previously Vice President of Medical Affairs. Providing oversight for a medical staff of more than 1,200 colleagues across a four-hospital system that generated 2 billion in revenue.
