4 year-old girl hit by car on Detroit’s east side
A 4-year-old girl is in critical condition after being hit by a car on Detroit’s east side Saturday evening.
The accident happened just after 5:30 p.m on Canyon Street near Balduck Park. Ashley Pearson, a cousin of the 4-year-old victim who witnessed the crash, said the family was having a family reunion at the park at the time of the crash.
Lions safety Morice Norris recovering after serious preseason injury
Detroit Lions safety Morice Norris is showing signs of hope after a frightening injury during a preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons Friday night.
Norris posted on social media expressing gratitude for the outpouring of support.
“[Amen, amen. I’m all good man. Don’t stress it. Appreciate all the check ins and love,]” he wrote.
The injury occurred early in the fourth quarter when Norris took a knee during a play.
