Two people were injured after being shot while traveling on I-275 late Tuesday night.

4 children stranded in Lake Superior rescued by Coast Guard

Four girls who were stranded on a rock in Lake Superior were airlifted to safety Sunday night.

The children were stuck near Black Beach Trailhead, off the Minnesota shore about 50 miles northeast of Duluth.

Detroit Tigers welcome fresh voice as Comerica Park celebrates 25-year anniversary

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Comerica Park, and fans have noticed some new additions to the Detroit Tigers’ game day experience — including a fresh voice on the public address system.

Zach Linfield, the Tigers’ PA announcer, is in his first full season behind the mic at Comerica Park.

Despite his youthful appearance, Linfield was born on March 12, 2001 — nearly a year after the stadium opened.

Woman accused of shooting at friend’s dad when asked to leave Macomb County home

A woman is accused of firing a gun at her friend’s dad when she was asked to leave a Macomb County home.

Police said the shooting happened Sunday, Aug. 17, 2025, in Eastpointe.

Kimberly Lozano, 31, of Livonia is accused of shooting at her friend’s dad when she was asked to leave the home. Police said the man was not struck.
