Man wanted in murder of Michigan teen arrested in California Suspect captured across state lines

JACKSON, Mich. – A man wanted for the murder of a Jackson teen was arrested in California.
According to authorities , 18-year-old Mia Sims was shot in the neck just before 1 p.m., July 27. She was taken to Henry Ford Allegiance Health, where she died from her injuries.
Police identified Antonio Green as a suspect shortly after. He faces charges of second-degree murder, discharging a firearm causing death and felony firearm. Law enforcement began to look for Green and asked the public for tips.
Police confirmed Green was located and arrested in California on Tuesday, Aug. 19. Authorities are working to extradite him back to Michigan to face charges.
