Weather: A few rain showers to start the weekend before a fall preview moves into Metro Detroit

After the dry end to the work week with Sunshine and some cloud cover, we will keep some sunshine in the forecast to start the weekend, but we will also bring the chance of rain showers into the forecast as well.

We’re going to watch a cold front roll through the region late Saturday afternoon into Saturday evening.

This will bring a chance of rain showers, so keep the umbrella handy, and there may be some of us who are able to stay dry into the evening hours tonight. High temperatures heading into the lower 80s by Saturday afternoon.
