According to authorities, Prezzato appeared at his local polling location on Election Day in St. Clair Shores and requested a ballot, despite having already returned an absentee ballot for that election. Both votes were counted in the primary.
Prezzato was charged in October 2024 with one count of voting absentee and in person and one count of offering to vote more than once.
Under a plea agreement, Prezzato will serve a six-month delayed probation sentence. If he meets all the terms and conditions of probation, the charges will be dismissed.
Prezzato will be sentenced on Oct. 22.
