The crash happened on Dec. 21, 2024.

Police responded to Mound and Chicago roads in Warren after receiving reports that a Ford Escape and a Chevrolet Silverado had been involved in a crash.

When an officer arrived and approached the Escape, no one was inside it.

Witnesses at the scene directed the officer to Glenn, who they detained until police arrived.

They told the officer that she tried to leave the scene and was drunk.

As Glenn was being taken into custody, she allegedly bit the officer.

The 69-year-old driver of the Silverado died from his injuries.

Glenn was arrested and initially charged with assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer.

After Warren police finished investigating the crash, Glenn was also charged with second-degree murder and attempted failure to stop at the scene, resulting in death on Jan. 9, 2025.

On Friday, Sept. 5, 2025, 37th District Court Judge Steven Bieda bound the 27-year-old woman over on all charges after her preliminary examination, which lasted half a day.

Glenn is scheduled to be arraigned before Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Michael E. Servitto on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025.

“This case is a tragic reminder that reckless decisions behind the wheel can have devastating, irreversible consequences,” said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido. “Our office is committed to pursuing justice for the victim and their family.”
