Target’s car seat trade-in program returns this fall, running from Sept. 21 through Oct. 4, 2025.

During this time, customers can trade in old, expired, or damaged car seats to earn a 20% off Target Circle Bonus toward a new car seat or other baby gear.

With the bonus, guests can shop Target’s curated selection of baby products from brands like Graco, Evenflo, Cloud Island, and more.

The collection includes nursery items, clothing, food, toys, and postpartum care essentials.

Since the program launched in 2016, Target has recycled over 3.5 million car seats. In total, the program has diverted more than 53 million pounds of waste from landfills, offering parents an easy way to make a positive environmental impact.

In addition to the trade-in program, Target is offering a Baby Concierge service powered by Tot Squad and introducing a registry hand-selected by Cara of Taking Cara Babies, a neonatal nurse and baby sleep expert.
