MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – Three people have been arrested for a string of burglaries and smash-and-grabs in Macomb County.
According to authorities, the three people facing charges are 24-year-old Shemar Rondeau, 22-year-old Kenneth Gipson and 23-year-old Tyrice Cunningham.
The charges stem from the following burglaries:
- The Cash Exchange, located on Groesbeck Highway in Clinton Township, was broken into on July 12. Police said three remote control cars valued at about $1,500 were stolen.
- Pleasantrees Cultivation Facility on Executive Drive in Harrishon Township was broken into on July 13. Authorities said nine plants were stolen.
- Bank of Buds on North River Road in Mount Clemens was broken into on Aug. 8. Authorities said 24 pounds of medical marijuana, estimated to cost more than $115,000, and a cash register were stolen.
- The Kroger Gas station on 21 Mile Road in Macomb Township was broken into on Aug. 8. While nothing was stolen, authorities said the building was damaged.

Rondeau was charged with conducting a criminal enterprise and three counts of breaking and entering with intent. His bond was set at $250,000.
Gipson was charged with conducting a criminal enterprise and two counts of breaking and entering with intent. His bond was set at $250,000.
Cunningham was charged with conducting a criminal enterprise and three counts of breaking and entering with intent. His bond was set at $100,000.
Additionally, all three suspects were charged separately with conspiracy to commit breaking and entering, breaking and entering with intent and possession of burglary tools in Macomb Township.
Additional charges are possible.
