South Lyon Community School District shuts down for third day following cybersecurity incident

South Lyon Community School District announced that it will be shut down for a third day following a network outage that caused a security incident that affected some of its systems.

Due to the ongoing situation, all South Lyon Community Schools will also be closed on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025.

The abrupt closing of My Suit Club in Novi has many weddings in jeopardy of being canceled.

Customers prepaid for their clothing, but have no idea when a refund may be offered.

“My stomach dropped, and I was like, ‘Oh my God. I can’t believe this is happening.’ I thought that maybe it was not real,” said Leo Zeciri.
