DEARBORN, Mich. – One of Metro Detroit’s beloved Halloween traditions is returning for the 2025 season.

Throughout October, The Henry Ford’s Greenfield Village in Dearborn will transform into a unique spooky wonderland, featuring jack-o’-lantern-lit paths, ghostly performances and other Halloween festivities.

Here’s what to know about Hallowe’en in Greenfield Village, including dates, ticket prices and activities you can enjoy.

When is Hallowe’en in Greenfield Village?

Hallowe’en in Greenfield Village will be held over 16 evenings this season, Oct. 2-5, 9-12, 16-19, 23-26, from 6 to 10 p.m.

How to get tickets?

The event typically sells out quickly, and visitors are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance on The Henry Ford’s website.

Tickets are $23 for members and $27 for non-members, ages 2 and up.

For an additional $5, people can add on a ticket for the Hallowe’en Express, which will take people on a train ride around the village. There are also dinner experiences that can be purchased.

As of this posting, there appear to be tickets still available for the event on Thursdays and on Sunday, Oct. 26.

What to expect

As guests walk through the path, lit by 1,000+ jack-o-lanterns, they’ll encounter more than 50 costumed characters, including the Grim Reaper the Headless Horseman, Peter Pan and more.

There will be vignettes from The Wizard of Oz, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, The Tell-Tale Heart, the screening of the 1910 Frankenstein with live character interactions, live music, village-wide lighting and sound effects, harvest markets and fall treats.

This year, there will also be a 1950s and ‘60s Halloween Hop at Town Hall featuring a werewolf DJ and zombie teens.
