Police believe family member lived with dead relative in Oakland County home for ‘extended period’
Police believe a family member was living with their dead relative inside an Oakland County home for an “extended period” of time.
The discovery was made at 12:15 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, at a home in the 4600 block of Hedgewood Drive in Bloomfield Township.
Police from Bloomfield Township went to the home and found a body, they said.
They also spoke to a “distressed” family member. Crisis negotiators spoke to that family member and brought them into protective custody, according to police.
Detroit Tigers playoff scenarios
much is certain.
But who they’ll play in the wildcard round, and where -- that is still very much undecided.
There are four possible outcomes depending on what happens on the final day of the regular season Sunday:
- Tigers win the AL Central Division and host Cleveland Guardians at home.
- Tigers get No. 6 seed and play at Cleveland Guardians.
- Tigers get No. 5 seed and play at New York Yankees.
- Tigers get No. 5 seed and play at Toronto Blue Jays.
Understanding Michigan’s vaccination waiver options for parents
Michigan parents have free access to detailed vaccination data for their children’s schools, allowing them to make informed decisions about health risks and school selection.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) maintains a comprehensive database showing vaccination rates and waiver information for kindergarteners and seventh graders across the state’s schools.
“This is data that is really meant for people to have some knowledge about what’s happening in their community,” explains Dr. Natasha Bagdasarian, Chief Medical Executive for Michigan. She emphasizes that while the information is detailed, “none of this is personally identifying information. This just tells you what the vaccination rates are like in your school.”
Weather: Sunshine, unseasonably warm for Sunday
After a beautiful start to the weekend, we will keep the trend of nice weather and unseasonably warm temperatures into the forecast, looking ahead into the end of the weekend and start of next week as well!
Behind that front that moved through on Saturday, high pressure will build back into the region, and there won’t be much of a dip in temperatures behind that front either. We are expecting plenty of sunshine for the end of the weekend on Sunday, and temperatures are back into the 80s by the time we get to Sunday afternoon.
