GRAND BLANC TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Everyone who was at the Grand Blanc Township church at the time of Sunday’s deadly attack has been accounted for, police said Monday afternoon.

Officials from the Grand Blanc Township Police Department, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, the FBI, Michigan State Police, and the ATF spoke early Monday afternoon to update the investigation into the attack at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints.

Four people were killed, eight others were injured, and the attacker was also killed.

On Sunday night, police said they had not accounted for all of the people who were at the church during the 10:25 a.m. attack.

But after investigating overnight and through Monday morning, Grand Blanc Township police Chief William Renye said authorities have accounted for everyone.

Although they believe they’ve accounted for all of the churchgoers, police said their sweep of the burned building continues.
