System outage causing major traffic delays for commercial travel at Blue Water Bridge

Wait time for commercial travel is at least 2 hours, says MDOT

PORT HURON, Mich. – Commercial traffic heading to Canada through the Blue Water Bridge is significantly delayed Thursday due to a system outage.

According to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), Canadian Customs at the Blue Water Bridge is experiencing a system outage, resulting in major delays in commercial processing at the port of entry.

“They are working closely with IT partners to resolve this issue as soon as possible,” MDOT said on X.
