MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – The woman accused of driving an SUV through a child’s bedroom in Macomb County is expected to appear in court Wednesday.
The crash happened around 3 a.m. on Oct. 13 at a Center Line home near 10 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue.

Background: 9-year-old girl injured after SUV crashes into bedroom of Macomb County home
Police said the SUV missed hitting a 22-month-old baby girl in the home by four feet.
Caris Adell Wade allegedly crashed her car through the home and ran off on foot. She was taken into custody by a Warren police officer, who was in the area.
Wade was charged with reckless driving causing serious injury and failure to stop at the scene of a crash. Her bond was set at $200,000.
She is expected to appear in court on Oct. 22 at 8:45 a.m. for a probable cause conference.
