Hamilton made the announcement on social media Oct. 18.

Hamilton credits her daughter as the inspiration behind her business. “My true drive, inspiration, and motivation is my baby girl AKA little Mz. Cheesecake,” she shared in her post. “Since she was born, I’ve taken For the Love of Cheesecake to levels I never imagined.”

The self-taught baker began her venture in 2016, hosting pop-ups at various locations such as Eastern Market and Bucharest Grill. She also operates a concession inside Ford Field during Detroit Lions home games and was selected as a food vendor for the 2024 NFL Draft, Afro Nation and Arts, Beats & Eats.

For the Love of Cheesecake offers a range of cheesecakes in both whole and personal sizes, as well as party trays and cupcakes.

A grand opening date has not yet been announced.
