Police in Warren are looking for a vehicle involved in a Nov. 3, 2025, hit-and-run that seriously injured a 12-year-old boy. (WDIV)

WARREN, Mich. – Police in Warren are looking for the driver of a dark SUV who seriously injured a 12-year-old boy on a bike.

It happened at about 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 3, near 13 Mile Road and Moceri Circle, just west of Schoenherr Road.

According to authorities, the 12-year-old was playing on a minibike when they were struck by what police believe is a Chevrolet Equinox that was last seen on westbound 13 Mile Road after the crash.

The boy was significantly injured and taken to a hospital by the Warren Fire Department in serious condition.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information or surveillance cameras in the area is urged to contact the Warren Police Department at 586-574-4859.
