Starbucks released a “Bearista” mug as part of its 2025 holiday merchandise line, and it has already gone viral.
It is a 20-ounce glass cup that is shaped like a teddy bear. The lid is shaped like a green beanie, and it features a green-and-white striped straw.

“From cold brew to an iced matcha latte, your drinks have never looked cuter,” according to the coffee chain’s website. “The Starbucks Bearista glass cold cup brings instant joy to every sip.”
Several Instagram users shared their excitement for the cute cups, but the new item has caused a stir.
Many have struggled to find one due to high demand, and the cups are already being listed on eBay for hundreds of dollars.
One video on TikTok shows three people fighting over one of the cups, and another person claimed an employee at the store they went to purchased the only cup available at that location.
Another person posted a TikTok video, saying they arrived at 4 a.m., were first in line, and said “the employees literally snatched the bear cup,” right in front of their eyes.
While many shared frustrations online about tracking down the cup, others celebrated their luck in snagging one.
