Weather: Sunshine gives way to rain and snow showers in Metro Detroit early next week
With high pressure building in, expect lots of sunshine for the majority of the region.
The one exception to this will be in our northeastern tier of communities, where we may hang onto a little cloud cover and the chance for an isolated shower or snowflake, thanks to a northwesterly flow bringing in that colder air.
High temperatures are only heading into the mid-40s by Sunday afternoon.
