To celebrate the holiday season, McDonald’s is launching another adult Happy Meal, and this time, it’s inspired by The Grinch.
The Grinch Meal launches on Dec. 2, 2025, at participating stores across the country.

“THiS iS MY MEAL AND i DiDN’T PARTNER WiTH McDONALD’S OUT OF THE GOODNESS OF MY HEART,” said The Grinch in a handwritten note on crumpled paper from Mt. Crumpit, according to a news release from McDonald’s. “i SAW AN OPPORTUNiTY TO BRiNG MiSCHiEF TO YOUR BELOVED ”RESTAURANT" WiTH MY DELiCiOUS CHAOS FOR THE HOLiDAYS AND i TOOK iT. SO GO AHEAD, GRAB MY MEAL STARTING DEC. 2 – YOU’RE WELCOME FOR MAKiNG YOUR HOLiDAYS iNFiNiTELY MORE iNTERESTiNG.”
The meal features pickle-flavored McShaker fries, a menu item that’s new to the U.S., and is inspired by the grouchy Dr. Seuss character, who initially despises Christmas but ultimately has a change of heart and discovers the true meaning of the holiday.
What does The Grinch Meal include?
Here’s everything that’s included with The Grinch Meal:
- Dill Pickle “Grinch Salt” McShaker Fries
- Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets
- Medium drink
- A pair of socks “scribbled with messages from the Grinch himself to let everyone know exactly how he feels this holiday season,” according to the release. The socks come in yellow, red, blue and green.
Other versions of The Grinch Meal have been released in other countries before, but this is the first time it will be sold in the U.S.
This meal follows the launch of the McDonaldland meal, the adult Happy Meal that launched and went viral in August. That meal was inspired by Ronald McDonald, Birdie, Hamburglar, Mayor McCheese, the Fry Friends and Grimace, and featured a limited-time shake.
