Campbell Soup responds after VP secretly recorded slamming ‘bioengineered meat’

Campbell Soup Company has responded after the vice president was secretly recorded slamming the company’s “bioengineered meat” and “chicken from a 3-D printer.”

Local 4 spoke to a former employee at Campbell’s, Robert Garza, of Monroe. Garza said he was fired after he complained about Vice President Martin Bally.

Man in mental health crisis fires shots, tries to kick in door of Oakland County neighbor’s home

A quiet Monday morning in West Bloomfield Township descended into chaos as a man, wearing a tactical vest and brandishing a gun, attempted to kick in the door to his neighbor’s home.

It all started on the 7400 block of Coach Lane around 9:30 a.m., with a 911 call.

Weather: Rain, snow, wind, tumbling temperatures hitting Metro Detroit this week -- what to know

Rain showers become more widespread across Southeast Michigan through the morning and continue this afternoon until fizzling out this evening.

Highs today will be around 50, but a strong cold front is on schedule for Wednesday morning and that will bring sharply different conditions from whipping winds, to colder air and a changeover from rain to snow.

Westerly wind gusts of 35-40 mph are expected Wednesday, with a chance of gusts around 45 mph by afternoon. Lake effect snow showers ramp up Wednesday night through Thanksgiving Day and linger into Thursday night.
