Police said she was last seen getting into a dark-colored vehicle outside a relative’s home on South 21 1/2 Road in Boon Township.

Her family reported that her cellphone was found discarded along a nearby two-track road.

According to a report from UpNorthLive, Park, who was 39 weeks pregnant, had arranged to be picked up on the day she disappeared.

However, she did not disclose who would be picking her up.

Investigators noted that Park received $2,000 from a family inheritance that day, which police believe could have helped her avoid electronic tracking.

A member of a search party on Tuesday confirmed seeing Park’s body while searching in the area.

During a Tuesday night press conference, the Wexford County Sheriff’s Office and Michigan State Police confirmed a body was found in Manistee National Forest in Boon Township.

The Wexford County Sheriff’s Office confirmed with UpNorthLive that the body belonged to Park, but details in the investigation are “extremely limited.”

The Wexford County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police and other law enforcement agencies are still searching for Park’s baby.

In a press release, Wexford County Sheriff Trent Taylor wrote:

“We understand the public’s desire for details and their demand for justice for Rebecca and her baby. We ask for your patience and understanding as we continue to seek answers for this tragic situation.”
