Temperatures Friday morning are in the single digits, and some areas in Washtenaw and Lenawee counties have fallen below zero.
Any children waiting for the bus should plan to sit in your car before pickup, as temperatures could lead to frostbite if skin isn’t properly protected.
Wind chills will remain in the single digits and teens throughout the day.

That 6-degree record low was set in 1974.
Forecasted highs are in the mid-20s, and the record for the lowest maximum temperature on Dec. 5 is 23 degrees -- set in 1926.
