Students paint snowplow ‘think sunny thoughts’ in Macomb County

Art students designed and painted the plow, adding a little joy to winter roadwork

MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – A Macomb County snowplow received a colorful makeover, thanks to middle school students.

The county partnered with Richards Middle School in Fraser on Friday (Dec. 19) to unveil a newly painted plow called “think sunny thoughts.”

Art students designed and painted the plow, adding a little joy to winter roadwork.

Macomb County leaders said it’s a fun way to celebrate creativity—and to show kids their art can be seen by the whole community.
