The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025, have been announced.
The jackpot reached $1.7 billion for the Christmas Eve drawing, with a cash value of $781.3 million.

This is the fourth-largest Powerball jackpot in the U.S. and comes after 46 consecutive draws. This is the longest stretch without a winner in the game’s history, according to lottery officials.
The jackpot was last won on Sept. 6, when players in Missouri and Texas split $1.787 billion.
If someone wins the jackpot on Wednesday night, it will be the second time it has ever been won on Christmas Eve.
In 2011, a $128.8 million jackpot was won from a ticket bought in Maryland.

What to know about Powerball game
Powerball plays are $2 each. For $1, a Power Play can be added, which multiplies non-jackpot prizes by up to 10x.
Players pick five numbers between 1 and 69 for the white balls, then one number between 1 and 26 for the red Powerball.
They can choose their numbers on a pay slip or have them be randomly selected by the lottery terminal.
To win the jackpot, a player must match all five white balls (in any order) and the red Powerball.
A jackpot winner can decide to receive their big prize as an annuity, consisting of 30 payments over 29 years, or a lump-sum payment.
