26-year-old Michigan man faces child porn charges Investigation is ongoing

INDIAN RIVER, Mich. – A 26-year-old man from northern Michigan is facing child porn charges.
According to authorities, Indian River resident Damien Joseph-Michael Slaven was arrested after an investigation revealed he was viewing child sexually abusive material online. Evidence was reportedly seized during a search of his home.
Slaven was charged Dec. 18 with aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, possession of child sexually abusive material, distributing or promoting child sexually abusive material and three counts of using a computer to commit a crime.
