24-year-old accused of firing multiple gunshots at Macomb County home

People in the home at the time of shooting were not injured

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 24-year-old from Oak Park was arrested for allegedly firing multiple gunshots into a house in Shelby Township.

The shooting happened in the 48000 block of Pineview on Dec. 26 at around 6:30 a.m.

When police responded to the scene, they found several spent casings in the street and a home struck by gunfire multiple times. There were two people in the home at the time of the shooting, but they were not injured. Police believe the shooting was not a random act.

After further investigation, police identified the suspect as Keshawn Ali Lamar Webster, a 24-year-old from Oak Park.

Investigators later found Webster’s car near 9 Mile and Jefferson in St. Clair Shores. At around 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Webster was arrested as they were walking to their car.

Webster was arraigned on Dec. 30 on charges of assault with intent to murder, felony firearm, discharging a firearm from a vehicle and discharging a firearm into a building.
