A Michigan business posted a scathing note about police after the owner was pepper-sprayed during a dispute with a “First Amendment auditor.”

The note was posted on the door of Zimmerman’s Meat Market in Marine City on Wednesday, Jan. 7.

A father of four went to a Detroit bar to celebrate a promotion, and now his family is outraged after he was killed and his brother was stabbed.

Family members said Jalen Stevens went to Chita’s Nefertiti’s bar on Grand River Avenue around 1 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026. He was celebrating a recent job promotion, according to his loved ones.

This Dearborn intersection is causing headaches for drivers, some try to avoid the area entirely

Between several businesses and a busy Kroger in Dearborn, many drivers Local 4 spoke with said they avoid a busy intersection in the afternoon.

The area of Michigan Avenue and Outer Drive is busy, but there’s a lot happening at the intersection with a Ford dealership, a high school a block away, a Chrysler dealership and a Kroger. People said getting out of the area during rush hour can be a nightmare.

Family seeks answers after medical examiner rules postal worker’s death an accident in Allen Park

The Wayne County Medical Examiner has ruled the gruesome death of postal worker Nicholas Acker an accident, but it is of little consolation to his family and friends, who are demanding answers about what led to his gruesome death.

Acker, 36, was found dead on the afternoon of Nov. 8, 2025.

There is enough lingering surface moisture and light winds around to support fog in areas that have had clouds clear out, several areas across Metro Detroit has dense fog that will likely stick around until 8AM. Winds increasing toward sunrise should help dissipate the fog by mid-morning.
