The man was allegedly involved in a retail fraud investigation at a Walmart in Shelby Township on Jan. 6, 2026. By the time police arrived, he had left the store in a black SUV.

Weather: Metro Detroit braces for more snow, brutal cold

A 4Warn Weather Alert has been issued for today due to possible travel concerns this morning with worsening conditions into the afternoon drive.

Many side streets and residential roads remain snow-covered from Wednesday. With additional snow and temperatures near freezing this afternoon, we could see a bit of wet/slushy snow, which could refreeze tonight as temperatures drop leading to icy patches, especially on untreated roads, bridges, and overpasses.
