Teen faces multiple felony charges for threatening Warren high school student with pneumatic gun

WARREN, Mich. – Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido announced that a teen has been charged with threatening a student with a pneumatic gun at Warren Cousino High School.

The incident occurred on Monday, Jan. 12, when Demarcus Desean Green-Todd, 19, along with a juvenile accomplice who let him into the school, allegedly approached a student in the athletic department hallway.

Green-Todd and the accomplice pushed the student into a corner near the men’s bathroom.

The 19-year-old then pulled out the pneumatic gun, which looked like a real handgun, and pressed the barrel into the student’s stomach.

School video footage captured the altercation.

Green-Todd was later apprehended and admitted to the assault.

The juvenile accomplice is also facing charges.

Following a thorough investigation by Warren police, the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office charged Green-Todd with:

  • Intentional threat to commit an act of violence against the school, school employees, or students with specific intent to carry out an overt act, a felony punishable by up to 10 years
  • Dangerous weapon carrying with unlawful intent, a felony punishable by up to five years
  • Assault with a dangerous weapon, a felony punishable by up to four years
  • Assault and battery, a misdemeanor punishable by up to 93 days
  • Trespass, a misdemeanor punishable by up to 30 days

On Jan. 14, 2026, Green-Todd was arraigned in the 37th District Court, where his bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety.

Green-Todd was remanded into custody with conditions that if bond is posted, he must stay away from Warren Consolidated Schools, cannot carry any weapons, and must have no contact with the victim.

His probable cause conference is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, at 8:45 a.m.
