Are parents more accepting of swearing? Here’s what Michigan researchers found

A new poll from the University of Michigan Health’s Mott Children’s Hospital found that parents may be more relaxed when it comes tot heir kids using curse words.

Only about half of parents said children should never swear. More than a third said it depends on the situation, and two in three parents said children learn swear words from friends or classmates. Most parents said they feel personally responsible for their child’s word choices.
