Community raises $2K+ for restaurant server fighting for her life after serious Waterford Township crash

Owners of Flights of Fancy Restaurant in Waterford Township are asking customers for their support after a longtime server, 45-year-old Amy Kuechle, was critically injured in a single-car crash Saturday.

Co-owner Kristen Robinette said staff immediately knew something was wrong when Kuechle didn’t show up for her shift the next day.

The owners quickly organized a GoFundMe to help cover medical costs and are asking patrons to give what they can.

Designer belt purchase in west Michigan leads to discovery of $35K counterfeit cash

The purchase of a belt on Michigan’s west side led to the discovery of more than $35,000 in counterfeit bills and two arrests.

According to authorities, Michigan State Police troopers were alerted to a counterfeiting complaint after two men reportedly used fake bills to purchase a designer belt sold over Facebook Marketplace.

Stellantis reports first annual loss, no profit-sharing checks to UAW employees from 2025

Stellantis reported its first-ever annual loss on Thursday, leading the company to not profit share with UAW-represented employees from 2025.

The auto maker, which owns major car brand names such as Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler, reported on Feb. 26 that net revenues went down 2% in 2025 compared to 2024. Stellantis reported it lost about 22.3 billion euros (about $26.3 billion) due to scaling down EV production.
