Former University of Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore is scheduled to return to court in connection with a case involving his alleged inappropriate relationship with a staffer.
Moore is set to appear in the 14-A District Court in Washtenaw County on March 6 before Judge Cedric Simpson for an evidentiary hearing.

A Grand Blanc man posing as “Some Guy” on Google Chat to pay an 11-year-old girl for sexual images admitted contacting up to 30 girls ages 11 to 17 for child sexually abusive material, according to FBI Agents in Detroit.
He was indicted March 4, 2026, on charges of sexual exploitation of children and possession of child pornography.

Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton charged a Flint Township couple with two felonies and a misdemeanor after police submitted investigation reports and a request for warrants.
Kim Mitchell Shires, 65, and Brenda Marie Shires, 61, are each charged with one count of abandoning/cruelty to 25 or more animals, a felony punishable by up to seven years in prison; one count of killing/torturing animals, a felony punishable by up to four years in prison; and a misdemeanor for failing to properly dispose of dead animals, which carries a minimum 30-day jail sentence.
