Detroit man pleads guilty in shooting of 15-year-old boy

His sentencing date has been set for April 3

DETROIT – The Detroit man accused of shooting and killing a 15-year-old boy on last August has pleaded guilty.

Terrell Epel Youngblood, 21, entered his plea deal on March 10, and is scheduled to be sentenced on April 3.

Youngblood had been charged with second-degree murder, felony firearm, and carrying a concealed weapon.

The investigation began on Aug. 23 when police found a 15-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his head near the Adam Butzel Recreational Center.
