SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 51-year-old man is facing multiple felonies after a drug bust reportedly led to the seizure of more than a thousand pounds of illegal marijuana products.
According to authorities, the Shelby Township Police Department and the DEA raided a home on Friday, March 13. During the search, police reportedly seized 964 pounds of marijuana, 83 pounds of marijuana edibles, more than 20,000 marijuana vape cartridges, 15 guns, 90 pounds of ammunition and $27,364 in cash.

Police said it was the second-largest seizure of illegal drugs in Shelby Township.
Joseph Zouhair Foumia was arrested at the home. He was charged Monday, March 16, with delivery/manufacture of marijuana, delivery/manufacture of drugs, possession of analogues, maintaining a drug house and felony firearm.
He was charged as a habitual offender and bond was set at $100,000.
