MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – A Warren man has died after being hit by a pickup truck in Sterling Heights on Monday.
According to police, a 60-year-old Warren man was trying to cross Van Dyke Avenue near 15 Mile Road on March 23 while traffic had a green light when he was struck by a Dodge Ram truck.

The Warren man was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Sterling Heights police said the Warren man did not have the right of way at the time of the crash and was possibly intoxicated.
The driver of the Dodge Ram remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Police said alcohol does not appear to be a factor with the driver. The investigation is ongoing.
