MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – A suspected impaired driver was arrested after crashing into a bus in Sterling Heights late Thursday night.
The crash happened on Van Dyke Avenue near Triangle Drive on March 25 at around 11:30 p.m.

According to Sterling Heights police, a person driving a Ford Fusion rear-ended a SMART bus. Two passengers on the bus were treated at the scene and released.
After further investigation, police arrested the driver of the Ford Fusion for allegedly driving while impaired.
The driver was booked and processed at the Macomb County Jail pending blood test results.
Information on the arrested driver has not been released, as they have not yet been formally charged. The investigation is ongoing.
