It’s been one year since the ice storm that took out trees, closed roads, and knocked out power, cell phone service and internet for days.

For the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, there was a silver lining -- the opportunity to repopulate forests and help wildlife. However, the damage will cost them millions and millions of dollars for years.
