What West Bloomfield temple attacker searched for online in days leading up to the day

The man who drove a truck into Temple Israel on March 12 spent days before the attack searching online for Jewish gathering places, weapons accessories, and upcoming events at the synagogue, then tried to delete the evidence.

The FBI recovered those deleted searches and revealed them during a press conference on Monday, March 30.

Dog attack leaves 68-year-old woman hospitalized after mauling on Detroit’s east side

A 68-year-old woman on Detroit’s east side nearly lost her life when she was viciously attacked by pitbulls, according to her family.

Around 8 p.m. on Sunday (March 29), Rita Emery was outside her home, picking weeds.

It seemed like any other spring Sunday, but soon, it took a bloody turn.

‘Cocaine torpedo’ scheme lands Metro Detroit drug trafficker in federal prison

An Albanian national will spend decades in federal prison after being convicted in a sprawling international cocaine trafficking and money laundering operation operating out of Metro Detroit.

After a 12-week trial, Ylli Didani was convicted by a federal jury on May 16, 2025, on charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine, conspiracy to distribute cocaine on a vessel, and money laundering conspiracy.

‘That’s our inheritance’: AAA reverses $38K denial after Local 4 helps Inkster family with father’s claim

An Inkster family was nearly out $38,000 for damage to their deceased father’s cabin after AAA refused to cover their claim for nearly a year.

They turned to Local 4, and now the insurance company says their claim is eligible and will be processed accordingly.

Weather: Dramatic drop in temperatures across Metro Detroit, thunderstorm chances this week
