Active weather alerts for Wednesday, April 15, 2026

Another round of severe weather is moving through Southeast Michigan on Wednesday, following a series of storms that left damage in many areas overnight.

Southeast Michigan is under a slight (level 2) risk for severe thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening along and south of M-59. North of that corridor, into the Thumb, has a marginal (level 1) risk.

The primary hazard remains damaging wind gusts, but flooding is also a concern.
