Grosse Pointe Restaurant Is Taking Responsibility

GROSSE POINTE, Mich. – Chris Craig miles said when he was eating at a the Big Boy restaurant in Grosse Pointe Saturday night he knew something wasn't right.

Craig miles said he had ordered the chicken parmesan. "I started to eat. As I was eating I noticed a crunching. I couldn't figure out why spaghetti would be crunching and I felt a sharp pain."

Craig miles said he left the restaurant with three broken teeth. "I spit out pieces of my teeth and this black piece of whatever came out. It's hard. It's like plastic."

The owner of the restaurant, Daniel Curis, is taking responsibility.

He said managers found several other hard pieces in the pasta sauce. Curis said the marinara sauce was made at the central kitchen at Big Boy headquarters.
