DETROIT – Parents if your child is looking for something to do and would like to help homeless animals in the process the Michigan Humane Society has some craft projects to could do.

The shelter animals need comforting items like blankets and toys.  Some suggestions are collect plastic Easter eggs for cats to play with, make catnip mice, collect toilet paper rolls and shoe boxes for small animals to play in, or make cage covers or fleece blankets to curl up in.
